This new mixed-usage building, located on the busy intersection of St-Laurent and Pine Avenue, consists of 10 new condominium units on top of street-level commercial space. The support system was built out of structural steel for ease and rapidity of construction. The exterior wall cladding is in rich St-Marc stone and brick, in order to harmoniously integrate into the surrounding properties
– the classic Plateau Mont-Royal look. The 2 floors of condominiums were specifically designed so as to accommodate the long and narrow site configuration, via
the extensive use of skylights and large glazing.
Clobracon completed the work within very tight delays and difficult site conditions, arising from neighbouring buildings, extremely limited site access, and all other obstacles associated with constructing a new building on a major downtown artery. The project was successfully completed
on time and within budget.
